McNichols Arena McMiner Letterman Jacket

Pay homage to Denver's iconic defunct McNichols Sports Arena with this nostalgic mash up of a fast food giant and a franchise favorite! Long before Pepsi Center and Ball arena, McNichols was home to the Denver Nuggets for decades spanning from the mid 70's to the late 90's. Denver Nuggets greats cemented their legacies in this house of hoops and in the hearts of longtime Nuggets fanatics. The large back design features a 70's era "Maxie the Miner" inspired logo juxtaposed with the McDonald's iconic mascot, Ronald. Besides a play off of the similarity in names and it's use of primary colors, the organization has had a history of collaboration. In the 90's, the Denver's franchise player, Dikembe Mutombo, starred in local McDonald's digital advertisements and exclusive promotional items! 

This limited edition jacket displays beautiful embroidery all throughout! The sleeves have 80's and 90's embroidered logo flips with corresponding beginning and closing year number chenille patches on the other side. The front chest has a golden arches spinoff pickaxe logo with the arena as well as a Maxie McMiner design on the other. The concept is all tied together on the back with an enlarged fully embroidered McNichols design with its beginning and end date.
